Job Description Brief:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing mortgage loan applications for homebuyers and those looking to refinance their mortgages. You will work closely with borrowers, underwriters, and other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of loan applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify and analyze borrower information, including credit reports, income, and employment documentation.
• Communicate with borrowers, underwriters, and other team members to gather additional information and clarify loan details.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service to borrowers throughout the loan application process.
• Maintain accurate records and update loan origination system with any changes to loan applications.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting and closing.
• Manage pipeline and prioritize loans to meet closing deadlines.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in mortgage lending and loan processing.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan origination software.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain positive relationships with borrowers and team members.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Work Schedule and Conditions (if applicable):

This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional weekday evenings and weekends may be required to meet closing deadlines.
